ANTI-RAGGING POLICY

SBS Group of Institutions is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. We have a zero-tolerance policy for ragging and any form of harassment, and we take this issue very seriously. Ragging is any behavior that causes physical or psychological harm to another student, and it is strictly prohibited at SBS Group of Institutions. This includes, but is not limited to, physical abuse, verbal abuse, humiliation, and any other behavior that may cause harm to a student.To prevent ragging, SBS Group of Institutions has established an Anti-Ragging Committee that is responsible for implementing our anti-ragging policy and responding to any incidents of ragging that may occur. Our committee works closely with students, faculty, and staff to promote a safe and supportive learning environment. All students are required to sign an undertaking against ragging upon admission to SBS Group of Institutions. Any student who engages in ragging will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension, expulsion, or legal action.If you are a victim of ragging, or if you witness any form of ragging, it is important to report the incident immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee. Your report will be kept confidential, and we will take all necessary steps to ensure your safety and support. SBS Group of Institutions is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Punishment and legal actions for ragging

  1. Ragging is a crime and it is punishable with imprisonment for a term of two years or more . The person responsible will also be liable to a fine of Rs. 10,000, all under the section 4 of the act.
  2. The regulations were passed by the University Grant Commission in 2009 to fight the evil of ragging in the university of India . The issue is serious and various measure are taken to change this problem. Suprise raids by the anti-ragging squads are done to make sure everything is going fine.
